Why does Vidal (the stepdad) constantly check his pocketwatch? what does it represent?
i was thinking that he was counting down to his death, but can someone give me an explanation?/
ps. just watched the movie yesterday for the first time
i was literally on the edge of my seat! and shed some tears at the end haha
It was because he said his dad recorded the exact time of his death, did something significant with the watch so ‘his son could know what time he died’ or something like that. He wanted to do the same for his son. Was strange. Loved that movie, though. Wish it could have been dubbed.
