Carburetor adjustments on an Onan BF-MS engine?
I have a Sears tractor with a Onan BF-MS 2666C engine. I am trying to adjust the fuel mixture, but to no avail. The engine surges at low speed and will stall when throttled down from high speed. Where should I start? I have not been able to locate a shop manual for this engine.
There are two screws on bowl of the carburetor, but I’m not sure which is for idle and which is for highspeed. If I turn them in all the way, should I back them out 1 1/2 turns?
if there is no mixture screw then its probably a California carb no adjustment and expensive to replace especially on a onan
