Can I jump start a Farmall Cub?

If the battery on a 1970-ish Farmall Cub is nearly dead, could I use a normal car to jump start it? I’m guessing I can’t because the electrical system on the tractor is a 6 volt system (I don’t know how many volts the battery is) and the positive terminal is used as the ground instead of the negative. If I can’t jump start it I’ll probably try push starting it since it’s a simple stick shift.

If it has three water caps, it’s a 6 volt; if it’s got 6, it’s a 12 volt. No, you can’t jump a 6-volt safely with a 12-volt car battery, but you can get a charger that will work for either at Sears. It’s a good investment.
