what can i put in an aquarium?
i was wondering what kind of things i can put in my aquarium, OTHER than the typical aquarium ornaments. the only thing i have experimented with was Lego’s, and they were fine. i was wondering about things like those miniature farm tractors they have at tractor supply co. im asking, mainly because my grandpa has a tank, and he’s a die-hard john deere enthusiast.
will the metal rust? will it whack out the ph, hardness, etc? will the paint come off, and harm the fish or dye the water green? or will it be fine?
what about with a layer of clear enamel over it all?
Hi If the little tractor is made of plastic it should be fine. However if the tractor is made of metal. Then both the paint and metal could slowly release chemicals that can harm fish. So check it first and if in dought don’t try it.
